The Health Savings Account CardSM is a pre-paid debit card that provides your members with convenient access to funds in their Health Savings Account (HSA) at OptumHealth Bank. The card can be used at locations that accept MasterCard, including ATMs.
Unlike other tax-advantaged accounts, payers or employers are not required to verify employees' HSA distributions. Rather, employees (account holders) are responsible for substantiating their expenses and reporting tax on ineligible HSA distributions.
