The Electronic Medical ID Card merges cutting-edge health care technology with that of the financial services industry. This card efficiently joins the user, physician and payer in a secure electronic exchange of information using technology similar to a retail payment transaction.
Electronic Technology
The magnetic stripe on the back of the subscriber's Medical ID Card enables communications between their physician and insurance company at the time of service, via the physician's office credit card terminal. The Medical ID Card provides protection for handling and processing confidential health information with the use of an alternate identification number, instead of using the subscriber's Social Security Number.
Member Convenience
The card conveniently lists the subscriber's name as well as any covered dependents on the same card. This means employees won't have to carry separate cards for each dependent.
