If you have a health savings account (HSA) with OptumHealth Bank,SM Member FDIC, you have several options for ways to pay for eligible medical expenses. If you have an HSA with another administrator, that bank or financial institution may offer similar choices.

Debit MasterCard®
Use the OptumHealth Bank Health Savings Account Debit MasterCard to:

  • Pay on-the-spot at a doctor’s office, pharmacy or other health care facility.
  • Pay a bill you receive from a doctor or other provider.
  • Withdraw funds from an ATM to reimburse yourself for expenses you paid out-of-pocket.*

*There is a $1.50 ATM withdrawal fee. Access fees may also be charged by the ATM owner.

Online bill payment
At OptumHealthBank.com, you can pay bills online, access your monthly statements and track your account balance and activity. You can also use online bill payment to reimburse yourself for eligible medical expenses you paid for out of pocket by simply directing a payment to yourself. 

Disbursement
You can request a disbursement from your account to reimburse yourself for eligible medical expenses you paid for out-of-pocket. (A $10 charge applies.) 

Checks
If you prefer, you can request checks ($10 for a book of 25) to pay for medical expenses from your account.
