Chad L. Wilkins
Chief Executive Officer

Chad Wilkins was named chief executive officer of OptumHealth Financial Services in 2007. Prior to that, he spent more than 25 years in financial services. At U.S. Bank Corporate Payment Systems (U.S. Bank), he was instrumental in building one of most successful commercial payment groups in the industry. He served as the senior vice president — commercial large market manager, leading a segment that grew to more than $13 billion in annual card volume in three years under his direction. At U.S. Bank, Wilkins also led teams to create strategic plans and innovative products that resulted in significant sales growth, high customer satisfaction and increased customer retention.

Previously, Wilkins was a regional sales manager with Citicorp Diners Club and a commercial loan officer with United Jersey Banks.

Wilkins earned his bachelor’s degree in government from Lehigh University.

Kelvin L. Anderson
President, OptumHealth Bank

Kelvin L. Anderson became president of OptumHealth Bank, Member FDIC, in 2008. He has 20 years of experience in bank operations, including finance and regulatory compliance and credit card payment operations. He was previously chief operating officer and chief financial officer of both Escrow Bank USA and Capmark Bank, building and sustaining operations at both banks during periods of rapid growth.

He is a graduate of the University of Utah with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Kelly L. Clark
Chief Operating Officer

Kelly L. Clark is responsible for operations, product delivery, technology and project management for OptumHealth Financial Services. Clark has a wide range of experience in technology leadership, development, operations and consulting.

Previously, he was vice president of the application services group at Uniprise Technologies. Before joining Uniprise, Clark was vice president, development and technology, for Sagebrush Corp., a market leader in educational software products. Clark was also general manager of SSI North America, a consultancy practice, and spent three years at Norstan Consulting.

He has master’s and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada.

Bruce Moyer
Chief Financial Officer

Bruce Moyer joined OptumHealth Financial Services in 2008 and served as vice president, business development, before assuming the role of chief financial officer in 2009. He has more than 25 years of experience in finance, accounting and management consulting for companies in the financial services and high-tech sectors.

Prior to joining OptumHealth, Moyer was a director in the Business Advisory Services Group for Grant Thornton, LLP, of Minneapolis and president and chief operating officer of Vision Technologies, Inc., of St. Paul, Minn.

Moyer has a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's degree in business administration from of the University of Illinois at Urbana.

James Priebe
Vice President, Sales and Marketing

An early advocate of consumer-directed health plans and debit card use with health accounts, James Priebe joined OptumHealth Financial Services in 2006.

Previously, Priebe was executive director and chief marketing officer for MMSI, a Mayo Health company. There he led third-party administrative services, health services, network services and pharmacy benefit management. Prior to MMSI, Priebe spent seven years at Sheffield, Olson & McQueen, a third-party administrator, where he led teams that created new profit centers and marketing opportunities.

Priebe is a frequent consultant and speaker on transforming health care for employees and retirees in public and private organizations.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing management and communications from Concordia College in St. Paul, Minn.

Howard Buff
Vice President, Business Development, Health and Wealth

Howard Buff is vice president of business development, responsible for building out the company’s health and wealth strategy.

Buff was formerly president and chief executive officer of UnitedHealthcare Benefits Services (UBS), which provides third-party benefits administration, and for some time held a concurrent role as chief operating officer for UHC Consumer Services. He started his UnitedHealth Group career in Optum, where he led a national team focused on enhancing the customer experience.

Buff has held various senior executive positions at Vsource, Administaff and Paychex. He has a degree in business administration from Rochester Institute of Technology and holds professional insurance licenses in health, life, property and casualty.

Michelle LeDell
Senior Human Capital Partner

Michelle LeDell has more than 20 years of experience working in human resources in 2007.

Prior to joining UnitedHealth Group, LeDell was senior vice president of human resources for Curative Health Services, a specialty pharmacy benefit and wound care management company. She has experience in strategic planning, leadership development, mergers and acquisitions, communications and change management.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota.
